The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) have reported that the 2017 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) will hold in May 2017.

This was made known by the JAMB representative, Fabian Benjamin, through the Board's Twitter handle @jambhq

As per him, real dates will be declared soon. He likewise instructed contender to be careful with respect to false dates and fraudsters.

"2017 UTME is planned to hold in May 2017. Real dates will be declared soon. Be careful with false dates and fraudsters," he said.

In the interim, JAMB recorder, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede has clarified why an irregular deferral has gone before the offers of utilization structures.

He said the progressing switch-over in the significant push of the offer of shape which is the scratch card to direct installment into the Treasury Single Account (TSA) was in charge of the deferral.
