N Power Teach
The N-Power Volunteer Corps (NPVN) is the post-tertiary engagement initiative for Nigerians between 18 and 35. It is a paid volunteering programme of a 2-year duration. The 2017 NPower teach is one of the categories of NPVN. The graduates will undertake their primary tasks in identified public services within their proximate communities. Successful volunteers are young graduates with the skills that will be assisting with teaching school management.

Getting onto the 2017 Npower teach list is one implementation of the federal government’s social investment scheme and requires bvn verification and physical verification.
Npower Teach Shortlisted Names Procedure (UPDATED)
Follow the steps below to check if you are among the pre-selected candidates:
- Visit http://npvn.npower.gov.ng/preselectedvolunteers/#/preSelectionStatus
- Enter your BVN Number
- If you are shortlisted, then visit npvn.npower.gov.ng/home/
The fortunate shortlisted candidates will undergo Npower’s physical verification exercise for final deployment.
This entails verification of your documents or credentials at the Local Government Area of assignment.

Dear 2016 applicant on the waiting list (i.e. if you received the SMS that you were pre-selected last year,
You are to partake in the Physical Verification Exercise between December 4th-14th.
How the NPower Teach Physical Verification is conducted
The NPower programme commenced in 2016. The first 200,000 N-Power beneficiaries were selected from 350,000 Graduate applications.
In 2017, the N Power Teach portal opened up for Graduate applications on the 13th of June. Applications received were 403% more than the Graduate applications received in 2016. As at the time, the application process closed in July 27th, 2017, 2,543,079 people had applied for the N-Power Graduate Programmes.
In 2017, N-Power and Npower teach is committed to improving on the lessons learnt in 2016.
To avoid some payment issues that plague(d) the 2016 beneficiaries, the Npower Teach BVN validation stage was introduced. Here, applicants whose names didn’t match their BVN were precluded from proceeding to the Assessment Test phase stage.
2,258,266 people scaled through the BVN validation stage. They were consequently invited to proceed to the Assessment Test Phase. 1,746, 454 people honoured that invitation.
NPower Teach Physical Verification and Preselection Process
In selecting the 300,000, we took the following into consideration
1. BVN Validation and Online Assessment
2. Achieving equity
3. Linking selection to population using Federal Constituencies
4. Addressing Demand Distribution of Unemployed Graduates
5. Taking into account, Deployment/Utilization issues from 2016
6. Correcting Deployment/Utilization challenges among 2016 N-Power beneficiaries
7. Rural-Urban Distribution Balance. Priority was given to the Rural Areas especially N-Agro applicants
8. Programme Allocation – Teach/Agric/Health
300,000 have been pre-selected for the physical verification stage. Applicants and the General Public must note that pre-selection does not equate Final selection.

From 11.30pm Monday, November 20th, 2017 applicants can check if they have been pre-selected for Physical Verification.
NPower NG remains committed to a fair and transparent process.

Want to check if your have been selected for the Npower 2017 programme? The list is due to be released soon. Logging on to the Npower Portal:
Step 1: Put on your device. Ensure you have an internet connection. Search the apps for the app relevant to your programme (N-Teach, N-Agro, N-Health) and Launch the App.
Step 2: Slide throught the onboarding screens to the last page, please read through the text carefully. At the last onboarding screen, please click “NEXT”.
Step 3: Play the introductory video. Once you’ve successfully watched the video, you will be logged in (you will need an internet connection to do this.
The Npower Shortlisted Names 2017 has yet to be released. It is due to be released in November 2017 according to the Npower Facebook and Twitter pages.

All N Power Teach Volunteers are entitled to computing devices that will contain information necessary for their specific engagement, as well as information for their continuous training and development. In 2016, the Federal Government engaged 200,000 N-Power Volunteers. In 2017, the Federal Government is enlisting 300,000 more.The June 2017 Application is only open to the Graduate Category- the N-Power Volunteer Corps.

You may receive any one of the following instructions when you try to log into your Npower Teach Portal..
- Invalid BVN: This means your application has come to an end. You can however keep trying to log in.
- Records do not match: This means your N power Teach application has come to an end. You can however keep trying to log in.
- Test date: Your N power teach test may be scheduled to open on a particular date. Ensure that you take note of this and write your test before the deadline given.
N Power Teach Volunteers will help improve basic education delivery in Nigeria. N-Power Teach Volunteers will be deployed as teacher assistants in primary schools around Nigeria. They will not replace the current teachers, but will work as support teachers across Nigeria, assisting with teaching, school management and other functions within the schools. Where possible, they will also assist in taking basic education to children in marginalised communities. Selection Preference N-Power Teach is open to all graduates. However, graduates that have majored in education (either at NCE or B.SC level) are encouraged to apply.
N Power Teach (STEM)
N Power Teach (STEM) is a component of the N-Power Teach programme. Through this programme, young graduates with the skills and interest in computer programming and other related fields will assist in the implementation of the Federal Government’s STEM Programme for primary and secondary schools.
- Post-tertiary qualification in any of the following courses
- Computer Science
- Computer Engineering
- Applied Mathematics
- Information Systems or similar courses
- Computer Programming
- Computer Graphics Design
- Computer Generated Images Development
- Animation • Server Administration
- Database Management
NPOWER TEACH ASSESSMENT STEPS:
2. Enter your Username and Password (note: Username is your phone number and your Password is your BVN).
3. Click on *Login* and you will be directed to your Dashboard.
4. Now click on *Click Here* to Start your test.
5. You will see _2 options:_
(i) Click to start Assessment Test
(ii) Click to select Device
Click on option (i) First after the Test, then click on option (ii) to select Device.
The assessment test questions is eleven (11) questions only and you have 20mins to answer them.
If you did not receive text message try to login. It’s not everybody that will be lucky to receive the text message on time because it is as a function of network, as such, we advise you try to login to the test site.
To take the N power Teach Assessment Test log on to the Npower Portal (located here: apply.npower.gov.ng/n-power-teach-test/login/index.php). You will need to input your BVN and Phone Number.
